Station 15
There is a darkness and stillness today as we remember Jesus in the tomb. Back in his own time, his disciples thought this was the end. They were only waiting to do the final burial preparations that there was not time for on the Friday afternoon with the sun going down and the religious laws preventing them doing anything until after the Sabbath rest.
There are many people sitting with loved ones at this time, through illness, through death and maybe just after someone has died. Waiting is part of life. There are different kinds of waiting. Waiting for a train or bus to arrive is a different kind of waiting to that of someone who is ill and again it is different when we wait for God to act in our own lives.
From the depths…
