Yesterday evening I was interpreting at St. Paul’s Cathedral where the Mothers’Union in the London Diocese was celebrating 125 years since they began their work. The Mothers’ Union is involved in supporting family life, hospital and prison visiting. They have different projects happening across the world.
The Mothers’ Union in Africa is particularly strong and it is the women of the villages that enable the Church to grow and be a place for good in the area.
I will try to remember to bring that up at the committee meeting on Saturday.
Bless the good work of the Mothers’ Union. Maybe next year let us all get together having a Coffee Morming to raise money to help people around the world?
