The Light of the World has come

Happy Christmas to all our blog followers. The preparations have been made, the presents bought and if you have children in the house, then Father Christmas has been and left some lovely things for them.

It might seem strange that Jesus is spoken of as ‘The Light of the World’, but just like people we know who seem to brighten up a room the moment they walk in, so it is with Jesus, but more so.

All of us have experience the ups and downs of life and at times it can feel desperate, lonely and ‘dark’. It is Jesus who can change this, by his love, his healing and forgiveness, he gives us hope, joy, peace and love. These are things that bring light and joy to our lives.

Whatever you are doing today, whether with family and friends or by yourself, I pray that you have a wonderful joyous day reflecting on God’s gift to the world.
