New Year Resolutions

Did you make a New Year’s Resolution this January? Many people see the New Year as an opportunity for a fresh start, more exercise, better food, mend broken relationships, end bad relationships, get a better organised life or managing money more effectively. Some of you might be trying a ‘Dry January’ when you give up alcohol for month and give the money you save to charity.

The Good News about Jesus, is that we do not always have to wait until the 1st of January to make a fresh start. God loves us so much, that when we are ready to make a fresh start, he will always be there to help us. Things of the past will be forgiven and the way ahead clear to start over again.

So if you have set yourself some January challenges and now are beginning to slip a bit.. remember you can start again at any time. You cannot change the past.. but you can shape your future. As Christians we are constantly working at improving ourselves so we are more like Christ… it will take a life time to achieve, but it is always worth it.
