Drumming up praise!! Sunday 15th January 2012
We joined the Oxford Deaf Church for their Easter Service on Sunday 24th April 2011
We went to a small village called Hermitage. It was a lovely parish church and the local people made us feel very welcome with a gorgeous tea after the service. We thank Rev Roger Williams for inviting us and for Rev Rita Ball and her congregation for being so welcoming.
We had a table at Deaf Day at City Lit, Covent Garden on April 16th 2011
On Palm Sunday we made a Palm Leaf Prayer- click on this to see it:
6th March 2011 – Bishop Pete Broadbent
The Deaf Church at Hayes Deaf Club were very happy to welcome Bishop Pete with us on Sunday 6th March. Bishop Pete preached a really interesting sermon about the Transfiguration of Jesus, (Rev Anne interpreted), and then later, he led us in Holy Communion. We were really pleased Bishop Pete tried to sign the peace and the blessing! Well Done!!!
