Baptism & Confirmation

Do you want a baby baptised? Would you like to be baptised yourself?

baptiseBaptism is a sign of God’s love and welcome.

Baptism is often done when we are babies, but a person can be baptised at any age.

Baptism is always a sign of the Christian faith, showing our decision to follow Jesus, live as a Christian and be part of the family of the Church.

You can talk in confidence about this with the Chaplain. Email: catherine.carlyon@london.anglican.org

Confirmation is when you confirm for yourself the promises that were made for you at baptism. It is an opportunity to declare your faith and be publically part of the Church. Please talk with Rev Catherine if you would be interested in this. Confirmation can take place at your local church, the Deaf Church or in St Paul’s Cathedral.
