The service is modern with a worship band for the music. It usually includes Holy Communion.

The church is situated at the junction of New North Rd and Pitfield St. A short walk from Old St or Hoxton stations, and close to the 271 and 394 bus routes.
From Hoxton train station walk to Kingsland Road -bus no is 394, 149, 67, 243.
From Old street tube station walk to Provost Street to Stop bus no 271, 21, 141 and 76 to off stop bus called Mintern Street then walk to St John Hoxton church.
The vicar is Rev Graham Hunter who is keen to welcome Deaf people into his church community.
